Eric Constantin survived an idyllic childhood in the beautiful mountains of Valais. A self-taught musician, he has always harboured a passion for music. Even if he is currently based in Fribourg, he made his debut as a musician and singer not far from Crans-Montana. As a singer-songwriter, Eric has released 4 albums and appeared on stage with Carrousel, Marc Aymon and Diane Tell, in addition to lending his voice as a singer and narrator to several musical ensembles in the beautiful region of Valais. “Tour de Manège”, his latest album, features the Chœur Clin d’Oeil de Zinal (VS), a choir of over 30 people, as well as his legendary uncle, Bernie Constantin.
A lover of books and poetry since childhood, words have always played an important role in Eric’s life. To indulge this passion, he joined the Les Dicodeurs on Radio Suisse Romande La Première in 2007, where he uses his guitar and his quirky sense of humour to bring listeners into his world, alongside Daniel Rausis, Marc Donnet-Monay and Laurence Bisang. His work with Crans-Montana Classics, narrating the sequel to Peter and the Wolf, combines his two lifelong loves: music and words.
