Raphaël Bollengier began learning the piano at the age of five with Guillaume Hersperger and obtained his non-professional certificate at the age of 14. He will be joining the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne next September. He has also won prizes in over 20 national and international competitions. He performs regularly in recitals, chamber music and as a soloist on stages across Switzerland and France, and has taken part in masterclasses with Nikolai Lugansky, Rena Shereshevskaia, Christian Favre and Tanguy de Williencourt, amongst others. A passionate music lover, composer and chess player, he is broadening his repertoire to include early music and Latin music.
