Elias, born in Geneva in May 2015, began playing the violin at the age of 5 with Hong Anh Shapiro at the Violonissimo Academy. He also takes weekly lessons with Anica Dumitrita Vieru and Tedi Papavrami, and in 2025 he participated in the Summer String Academy at the Jacobs School of Music in Mimi Zweig’s class. Winner of several regional, national and international competitions, Elias continues to hone his skills while pursuing his schooling, practising the violin whenever he has the opportunity. Outside of music, he enjoys playing chess.
