Crans-Montana Classics organises high-quality classical music concerts throughout the year, punctuating each of the four tourist seasons with highlights ranging from the New Year’s Concert to the Winter Festival (February), including the Easter concert in one of the villages of the three municipalities of Crans-Montana, master classes, the concert on the golf course and chamber music concerts during the summer and autumn.
Classical concerts are not reserved for a select few – that is one of Crans-Montana Classics’ core beliefs. An attractive pricing policy reflects this desire to be accessible to the general public, as does the diversity of the programme and concert venues. Some events are specially designed for young audiences, with free admission for children up to the age of 16, as is the case for all our concerts.
Michael Guttman, musical director since 2017, presents a programme that is open to the world every year, featuring internationally renowned artists as well as young Swiss and Valais talents. Renowned for skiing and golf, Crans-Montana and the Haut-Plateau are much more than that. The activities labelled Crans-Montana Classics give the whole region a cultural aura.
A Word from our President, Cedric Bonvin
Dear fellow music lovers,
Music crosses generations and cultures. It is the expression of what unites us and brings us together.
The year 2024 was rich in events and wonderful surprises. In 2025, our programme will honour the rising generation, whose artistic qualities are remarkable. The musical world is teeming with young talent, and it’s essential to support them on their way to the stage, not only to reveal them to the public, but also because they bring a freshness, a passion for gesture and an irresistible need to perform and share their art. These promising artists deserve to be discovered, and it’s with you, dear audience, that they will experience these unique moments.
At the start of this new year, I would like to wish you all the very best for 2025, and to express my deep gratitude to our patrons, donor institutions and loyal friends for their generosity and unfailing support.
Cedric Bonvin
