Duo Tadam, percussion
Gregory Pages, Vision Art Festival director and administrator
In collaboration with Swiss Made Culture, La Musique du Lieu invites you to discover iconic locations in the Crans-Montana region by exploring its cultural and musical heritage.
The words
Tags, graffiti, street art—terms that bring to mind city centers more than mountain landscapes. Yet, for over 10 years, the Vision Art Festival has been breathing new life into the resort’s concrete facades. A stroll through Montana to discuss, question, and explore murals alongside festival founder Gregory Pages. Why was Crans-Montana an ideal platform for urban art, and how did this art—with its illegal, subversive, and ephemeral origins—find its way into museums? Protest art or aesthetic expression? Here’s your chance to engage with reality!
Music
The percussion duo “Tadam” creates a unique musical language, where rhythms and poetry intertwine in an endless and subtle interplay. Drawing on sacred chants, the duo plays drums and invites the audience to experience a sense of sharing and camaraderie.
