Maxim Vengerov, violin
Cameristi della Scala Orchestra conducted by Ion Marin
Crans-Montana Classics presents its New Year’s Grand Concert on January 1, 2027, at 5:00 p.m. at the Le Régent Sports Center.
The concert continues its cultural mission and aims to remain a major event at the start of the year thanks to the exceptional participation of violinist Maxim Vengerov and the trusted Cameristi della Scala, conducted by Ion Marin.
Beethoven has naturally taken center stage in the program as the musical world prepares to commemorate the composer’s legacy. By embodying humanistic values, this choice celebrates music’s ability to bring us together.
Maxim Vengerov has always placed Beethoven’s major works at the center of his musical career. He has performed the Violin Concerto on the world’s greatest stages, and the Haut-Plateau is delighted to welcome him for the first time.
One year after the tragedy in Crans-Montana, we remember the victims and their families, and we are committed to providing you with a space filled with hope.
Programme:
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827)
- Violin Concerto in D major, op.61
- Symphony N°5 in C minor, op.67
